One dead, six injured in road accident

Jammu Tawi, Jun 16 : One person was killed and six others were seriously injured when a car collided with a road divider in Samba district on Tuesday, officials said.

The car, driven by Bishambar Dass, was on its way to Kathua from Jammu and the accident occurred near Dayani Chowk, the officials said.

They said Dass died on the spot while his wife and five other relatives were seriously injured in the accident. The injured have been shifted to the hospital, they said.
