J&K Police Identifies Terrorist Killed In ‘Operation Ashdar’ As Pakistani National

Srinagar, Sep 5: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has identified the terrorist killed during Operation Ashdar as Yasir, a Pakistani national affiliated with the proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

In a social media post, the J&K Police said the identity of the slain terrorist was established following the operation. Sharing the development, the police posted the message, “You Can Run But You Can’t Hide!”

According to the police, Yasir was a Pakistani national and was associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba, a proscribed terrorist organisation.

The identification comes amid intensified counter-terror operations across Jammu and Kashmir targeting foreign terrorists operating in the Union Territory.

Security forces have been conducting sustained operations to track down and neutralise terrorists involved in attempts to maintain their presence and networks in the region.
