ASP Baramulla Neha Jain Among Five IPS Officers Promoted by MHA

New Delhi, Dec 24: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has promoted five Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including Neha Jain, who is currently posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials said Neha Jain is the only IPS officer from her batch serving in the J&K segment to receive the promotion.

Another officer promoted by the MHA, Anurag Daru, has also previously served in Jammu and Kashmir, having undergone a part of his professional training in the Union Territory.

The other IPS officers promoted by the Ministry include Akshat Aayush, Akanksha Milind Tamgadge, and Aashish Kumar.
