ST JOHN parishioners will be asked to approve spending of up to £60,000 on upgrading the children’s park when the first Assembly since the election is held next week.

Proposals for the meeting on Wednesday 22 July also include spending £21,000 on new road speed signs, moving £40,000 from the parish’s current account to the funding pot for upkeep of the roads and voting on a sum of money for their upkeep.

Held at the Parish Hall at 7.30pm, the meeting will also consider rates, St John’s budget for the year ahead, and arrangements as to the parish accounts for the financial year ending 30 April 2027.
