A CONSULTATION on future minimum wage rates in Jersey has been launched.

Islanders are invited to contribute to the exercise, being run by The Jersey Employment Forum, via an online survey available on the consultation webpage of the gov.je website.

“All aspects” of financial and economic conditions in the Island are expected to come under the microscope, with the consultation due to run from until 10 July 2026.

The analysis will dictate the conclusions and recommendations given to the Social Security Minister later this year.

The minister will then decide what rates should be applied from 1 April 2027.

Carla Benest, chair of the Employment Forum, said she was “very pleased that the forum will once again be undertaking a comprehensive review of the minimum wage rates in Jersey”.

She added: “We’re looking forward to engaging with employees and employers and business and trade union organisations right across the Island and in all sectors of the economy.

“I’d encourage everyone with an interest to take part.”
