Appeal after teen suffers head injury in bike crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy suffered a head injury in a mountain bike crash on St John’s Road yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened outside Victoria House Apartments at about 3.15pm when two teenage boys riding down the hill on a mountain bike lost control and fell.

One boy was taken to Jersey General Hospital with a head injury. The other was unhurt.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, is asked to contact police on 612612, quoting reference M04457/2026, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
