Following a frustrating three-match winless run, Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has described the team's recent form as "unfortunate" and "very difficult" to endure.

The veteran tactician is now shifting his focus toward a crucial home recovery, promising fans a turnaround when they host Vision FC at the Kpando Stadium.

The Lions have struggled for consistency in the Ghana Premier League, managing only one victory in their last seven outings.

This slump has seen the Kpando-based side slide to 13th in the standings with 34 points.

“It’s unfortunate. You play three matches and then you don’t win any of them, which is very, very difficult,” Hayford admitted during his pre-match briefing. “So when we come back home, we want to make amends. And we are sure that we will satisfy our supporters. We’ll make sure the supporters are happy.”

The upcoming Matchday 28 fixture against 11th-placed Vision FC represents a vital opportunity for Heart of Lions to leapfrog their opponents and climb away from the lower half of the table.
