Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have expressed firm interest in signing Debibi United attacker Kwadwo Antwi following his breakout campaign in the Division One League this season.

Antwi has enjoyed an impressive season with Debibi United, who recently triumphed over Tamale City in the Zone One playoff to secure their first-ever promotion to the Ghana Premier League.

The forward’s outstanding performances have not gone unnoticed, with a host of clubs reportedly interested in signing him in the upcoming summer transfer window, including Accra Hearts of Oak.

In an interview, Debibi United Chief Executive Officer Alexander Ababio confirmed Hearts of Oak’s interest in the striker, revealing that the Phobians have offered GH¢150,000 in an attempt to secure his services ahead of their competitors.

However, Ababio insists Antwi is valued higher than the offered amount, considering his exceptional qualities and importance to Debibi United.

“Kojo Antwi is a top-quality player, and his contribution will be crucial as we compete in the Ghana Premier League,” Ababio explained. “The offer from Hearts of Oak is appreciated, but we believe his true value exceeds GH¢150,000.”

Debibi United will be counting on the forward as they seek to make a meaningful impact in their maiden Ghana Premier League campaign next season.
