“There is pressure on us” – Godfred Yawson insists ahead of Bechem United’s clash against All Blacks

Bechem United striker Godfred Yawson has admitted that the team is under pressure ahead of their Ghana Premier League fixture against Swedru All Blacks.

The Hunters are under serious strain following their midweek defeat to Dreams FC, a result that has left them sitting 12th on the league table, just two points above the relegation zone.

With only three matches remaining in the season, Bechem United are now in a position where every point matters, as any further slip could drag them deeper into relegation trouble.

Yawson, who has recently returned to scoring form, admitted the situation within the camp is tense but insisted the team is focused on responding positively.

The striker stressed that the squad is fully aware of the importance of the upcoming fixture and the need to fight for survival.

“There is pressure on us because we are going to play away. At home, we lost to Dreams FC, so going away to play against All Blacks will not be easy. We are talking among ourselves because we want to go to Swedru and fight for the points,” Yawson said.

The Week 32 encounter between Swedru All Blacks and Bechem United is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, with kick-off set at 3 pm at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
