Medeama midfielder Fuzy Taylor returns from Göztepe trial

Medeama SC midfielder Fuzy Taylor has returned to Ghana after completing a one-week trial with Turkish side Goztepe.

The 17-year-old is now back with Medeama and available for selection ahead of Sunday’s Ghana Premier League top-of-the-table clash against Bibiani Gold Stars.

Taylor was spotted at Goztepe’s training base in Izmir earlier this week as he explored a potential move to Europe. The opportunity comes after a strong debut season with Medeama, where he has quickly become an important part of the team.

Since joining Medeama from Accra Lions in July 2025 on a three-year contract, the young midfielder has impressed with his work rate, discipline and ability to read the game. He has also shown versatility, occasionally filling in at right-back when needed.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, earning him a call-up to Ghana’s U-20 side, the Black Satellites.

For now, Taylor returns to domestic action with Medeama, as they prepare for a crucial test in the title race.
