Senegal has been confirmed as the host nation for the 2026 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations following approval by the CAF Executive Committee.

CAF announced the decision on Sunday, reaffirming confidence in Senegal’s ability to organise major continental sporting events and recognising the country’s strong contribution to the development of beach soccer in Africa.

Senegal are the most successful nation in the history of the competition, having won the tournament a record five times.

The West African nation has also dominated recent editions, winning the last five consecutive titles, including the 2024 tournament held in Egypt.

The 2026 competition will feature eight of Africa’s top beach soccer nations battling for continental glory and qualification to the 2027 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Senegal previously hosted the tournament in 2021 and will now welcome the continent once again for another edition of the growing competition.
