French agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch has spoken about her split with Mohammed Kudus, pointing to family influence as a decisive factor in the end of their working relationship.

Mendelewitsch explained that the decision came at a natural point in their partnership, as both parties assessed whether to continue together. However, she indicated that external pressure ultimately shaped the outcome.

“We were coming to the end of our term and so, as we always do, we asked ourselves, what do we do? Do we continue on our path together or not?” she said.

“I understood perfectly that his family was exerting pressure to get him to say no, and he submitted to it.”

The French agent, who operates under Supernova Management, began representing Kudus around 2020 during his time at FC Nordsjælland. Their collaboration coincided with a significant period in the midfielder’s career, as he emerged as one of Ghana’s brightest prospects in European football.

During their time together, Mendelewitsch oversaw Kudus’ move to Ajax Amsterdam, where he gained wider recognition, and later his €45 million transfer to West Ham United in 2023.

The partnership officially ended in July 2024, closing a chapter that had played a central role in the player’s rapid rise.

Kudus has since moved on with his career, securing a reported £55 million transfer to Tottenham Hotspur before the start of the current season. Despite his continued importance at club and international level, injuries have disrupted his progress, leaving him sidelined and facing uncertainty over his availability for the 2026 World Cup.

The Ghana international remains a key figure for the Black Stars as he works towards full fitness.
