Daniel Adu Adjei continued his impressive form after scoring in HNK Rijeka’s comfortable 3-0 victory over Vukovar 91 at Stadion HNK Rijeka.

Adu Adjei opened the scoring in the 41st minute after racing onto a low cross from Mladen Devetak before calmly finishing past the goalkeeper to hand Rijeka the lead before halftime.

The forward delivered another influential performance and constantly troubled the Vukovar defence throughout the game. He recorded the highest number of touches inside the opposition penalty area with nine and also finished with a game-high five shots.

Rijeka remained in complete control after the break as Stjepan Radeljic doubled the advantage early in the second half from a Justas Lasickas delivery.

Substitute Toni Fruk wrapped up the victory in stoppage time after converting another assist from Devetak.

The result highlighted Rijeka’s dominance as they outshot Vukovar 17-7 while restricting the visitors to just one effort on target.

Adu Adjei has now registered six goals and three assists in 25 league appearances this season.
