Medeama set for Ghana Premier League coronation in Tarkwa

Medeama will officially lift the 2025-26 Ghana Premier League trophy on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, when they host Basake Holy Stars at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.

Officials of the Ghana Football Association are expected to present the medals and trophy to the newly crowned champions after the match as the club celebrates another major milestone in its history.

The Tarkwa-based side secured the title in emphatic fashion following a commanding 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions, capping an impressive campaign that saw them emerge as the standout team in the league.

A large crowd is expected at the TnA Stadium as supporters gather to celebrate Medeama's successful season and witness the official coronation ceremony.

To add to the festivities, Ghanaian musician Medikal will perform live at the venue ahead of the trophy presentation.

Medeama will be lifting only the second league title in the club's history after a campaign built on consistency, strong attacking displays and impressive performances throughout the season.

The coronation match will officially bring the club's league campaign to a close, with players, technical staff and supporters expected to celebrate the achievement after the final whistle.
