Four players yet to join Black Stars camp as World Cup preparations continue in Cardiff
· GhanaSoccernetFour players are yet to report to Ghana's training camp in Cardiff as the Black Stars continue preparations for Tuesday's international friendly against Wales and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Twenty-four players took part in Saturday's training session at Dragon Park, with Thomas Partey and Inaki Williams the latest arrivals to join the squad.
The pair reported to camp on Saturday morning and immediately joined their teammates for training as preparations intensified ahead of the friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium.
However, four members of Carlos Queiroz's 28-man pre-World Cup squad remain absent from camp.
Defenders Alex Djiku and Kojo Oppong Peprah, midfielder Augustine Boakye, and forward Antoine Semenyo have yet to link up with the rest of the squad in Wales.
Their absence means Queiroz is currently working with 24 of the 28 players selected for the training camp and friendly match.
The Black Stars are using the camp to fine-tune preparations for the World Cup, where they have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
Ghana will begin their World Cup campaign against Panama in Toronto on June 17 before taking on England and Croatia in their remaining group-stage matches.
Tuesday's friendly against Wales will provide the Black Stars with their final match before travelling to North America for the tournament.
Kick-off at the Cardiff City Stadium is scheduled for 6:45 pm.
