Doris Boaduwaa proud of Black Queens despite England defeat

Ghana lost to the European champions in a highly-competitive game at the St Mary's on Tuesday evening.
The Lionesses got off to a brilliant start after Lucia Kendall opened the scoring in the sixth minute but waited till the final minute to get a second through star-player Alessia Russo, who converted from the spot.
Boaduwaa was Ghana's best players in the game and had a good opportunity to register her name on the scoresheet.
"A tough match against England yesterday 2–0 loss but a solid performance from the team. Thank you Lucy Bronze for the jersey swap and the guidance. Moments like these push us forward," she posted at the end of the game.
The game was a good test for Kim Lars Bjorkegren and his girls who are preparing for next year's Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
The tournament also serves as a qualification tournament for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.
