Stoke City forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi earns first Ghana call-up for Mexico friendly

Stoke City forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has earned his first Black Stars invitation ahead of the international friendly match against Mexico.

The West African football powerhouse are gearing up for the 2026 World Cup to be co-hosted by United States, Canada and Mexico from next month.

Rak-Sakyi, who joined Stoke City in the winter transfer window from Crystal Palace is among several debutants in the squad for the impending friendly encounter, marking a significant step in his growing career.

Since joining the Championship club, the 23-year-olf striker has racked three goals in 15 appearances for Stoke City.

He is expected to join the team for upcoming international fixtures, where he will have the opportunity to compete for a place in the final squad for the 2026 World Cup.
