2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 34 Match Preview – Basake Holy Stars vs. Dreams FC
· GhanaSoccernetBasake Holy Stars will close out the season at the AAK II Sports Arena on Sunday, May 24, 2026, when they host Dreams FC in their final Ghana Premier League fixture of the campaign.
Both teams are safe from relegation but will still be eager to finish the season in a respectable position.
The hosts currently sit 11th in the league standings with 46 points, three behind 6th-placed Dreams FC. A victory for Holy Stars could see them move level on points with the ‘Still Believe’.
Rashad Musah’s side will head into the encounter full of confidence, having gone unbeaten in their last 12 home matches. Their impressive form at the AAK II Sports Arena has been one of the highlights of their campaign, and they will be determined to end the season on a positive note in front of their supporters.
Dreams FC, meanwhile, will be aiming to make it back-to-back victories following their impressive 3-1 win over second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars, a result that confirmed Medeama SC as league champions.
The visitors recovered strongly after a difficult start to the season to climb into the top half of the table. Head coach Winfred Dorman will be pleased with his side’s turnaround in form but will hope to cap off the campaign with another positive result.
However, Dreams FC’s poor away record (W2 D5 L9) could prove a major obstacle against a Holy Stars side that has been difficult to beat on home soil throughout the season.
