We cannot afford to lose to Kotoko at home – Bechem United coach Kobina Amissah
· GhanaSoccernetBechem United head coach Kobina Amissah is keen on leading his side to victory in their next Ghana Premier League fixture against Asante Kotoko.
According to him, the Hunters must find any means to overcome the Porcupine Warriors in the upcoming showdown to ensure they avoid relegation at the end of the 2025/26 season.
“We can’t afford to lose at home. Looking at how the league is going, we can’t just lose at home like that.
“We can get the win [against Kotoko], but we cannot imagine the score line. What is important right now is that we should be able to get the three points,” Kobina Amissah told Bechem United TV.
After 32 matches in the current league campaign, Bechem United sit 10th in the league table with 44 points.
For a side that is just three points above the relegation zone, a slip in their last two matches could seal their relegation from the top-flight.
This is why Kobina Amissah is rallying his players to give their all on Sunday, May 17, to secure maximum points in the Kotoko fixture.
The crucial encounter is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
