Ghanaian winger Yaw Yeboah delivered a sparkling performance with a goal and an assist as Qingdao Hainiu beat Wuhan Three Towns 3–1 away in the Chinese Super League.

Yeboah set the tone in first-half stoppage time, bursting down the flank before picking out Yonghao Jin, who coolly finished in the 45+5 minute to send the visitors into the break 1–0 up.

Wuhan responded shortly after half-time through Jhonder Cádiz, who levelled on 59 minutes from a Kang Wang assist. Qingdao stayed composed, however, and regained control when Carlos Strandberg struck in the 71st minute to restore their lead. Yeboah then put the result beyond doubt in the 76th minute, racing onto a Chuangyi Lin pass and slotting home for 3–1, capping a brilliant all-round display.

The 29-year-old wideman is enjoying an excellent 2026 league campaign, now up to 10 appearances, four goals and three assists in the Chinese Super League. Qingdao Hainiu will aim to build on this impressive run of form when they host Dalian Yingbo in their next fixture on Sunday, May 10.
