Nations FC head coach Frimpong Manso has acknowledged the growing fatigue within his squad as they prepare for their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter against Young Apostles.

The Abrankese-based side has faced a demanding schedule in recent days, playing against Hearts of Oak on May 3 before returning to action against Heart of Lions on May 6.

With another crucial league fixture set for May 10, Manso admitted that the congested schedule has had an impact on his players, who have been pushed physically during this stage of the season.

Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of the Week 32 clash, the experienced tactician stressed that managing player fatigue has become a key focus for his technical team, while expressing confidence that the squad will be prepared for the challenge.

“It’s tough. You can feel it, and whenever you see the players, you see it on their faces. It’s normal. For me, what we need to do is to manage the fatigue at this time of the season. They’ve played 31 games, and so that’s what we are seeing. Hopefully, on Saturday, we will be done with the stress management, and we will be ready for the next game,” Frimpong Manso told Nations FC TV.

Nations FC will now shift attention to Sunday’s league fixture against Young Apostles, with the match scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.
