A member of Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee (IMC), Kwesi Appiah, has called for patience and unity as his side continues to push to win the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title.

After 14 matches played, the Porcupine Warriors sit 3rd on the league log with 24 points.

The inconsistent performance of the team has led the fans to call for the dismissal of head coach Karim Zito.

However, speaking in an interview, Appiah acknowledged the challenges that come with decision-making while emphasizing the importance of learning throughout the process.

“Team building is a gradual process, and we all need to be patient," he told Akoma FM.

"We are doing our best, and while some decisions may not always be right, they offer valuable lessons."

The experienced tactician reaffirmed his team’s ambition to compete for the league title, insisting they remain fully committed to the fight.

"Our desire and hope are to win the Ghana Premier League title, but above all, we are prepared to fight until the very end.”

Asante Kotoko will hope to keep their push to win the title when they travel to play Eleven Wonders in the Matchday 15 games at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
