Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori marked a significant milestone in his stint with NK Olimpija Ljubljana by scoring his first goal for the club in their commanding 3-0 victory over NK Primorje in the Slovenian Prva Liga.

The 24-year-old, who joined Olimpija on loan in January, delivered a composed finish late in the game to wrap up an impressive performance from the Ljubljana-based side.

Ofori’s goal came nine minutes from full-time, capping off a dominant display and underlining his growing influence within the team.

Olimpija wasted no time asserting control, with Slovenian midfielder Dino Kojic opening the scoring just two minutes into the contest.

The early breakthrough set the tone for the hosts, who dictated the tempo and created several chances throughout the match.

Macedonian forward Dimitar Mitrovski doubled the advantage in the 63rd minute, finishing off a well-worked move to put the result beyond doubt.

Ofori then put the icing on the cake with a well-taken effort, sealing all three points for Olimpija.

Ofori is currently on loan from SK Slovan Bratislava, where he previously played alongside fellow Ghanaian Rahim Ibrahim and Togolese international Zuberu Sharani.

The goal will come as a timely boost for the Ghanaian attacker as he looks to establish himself and maintain consistent performances in the Slovenian top flight.
