Losing to Dreams FC at home still a shock to us – Bechem United coach Kobina Amissah

Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah has disclosed that his team is still in shock over their defeat to Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League earlier this month.

The Hunters hosted the Still Believe boys at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on May 6, in a rescheduled Week 30 fixture of the Ghanaian top-flight league.

At the end of a close contest, Dreams FC bagged all three points after securing a 2-1 win at full-time.

According to Kobina Amissah, Bechem United are yet to recover fully from the defeat, heading into their last two fixtures of the season. He insists that his side must not lose their upcoming home match against Asante Kotoko.

“We can’t afford to lose at home. Looking at how the league is going, we can’t just lose at home like that. Dreams FC had never beaten us before. This was the first time, so it was a shock to all of us. I believe we will make amends going into this game,” Amissah told Bechem United TV.

The upcoming Week 33 fixture between Bechem United and Asante Kotoko is scheduled for Sunday, May 17, at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, with kickoff at 3 pm.

The hosts need a win to guarantee their place in next season’s Ghana Premier League.
