The Ghana Football Association has welcomed betPawa’s decision to extend its Locker Room Bonus initiative to the Black Stars and Black Queens, with Vice-President Mark Addo describing the package as a significant boost ahead of major international assignments.

The renewed partnership was formalised on Friday, May 29, 2026, during a signing ceremony at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Accra.

The agreement expands a programme that has already gained prominence in Ghana’s domestic football landscape through direct financial rewards for players following victories.

Speaking at the event, Addo said the latest intervention arrives at an important moment for both senior national teams.

“We are especially delighted by betPawa’s latest support package of locker room bonuses for the Black Stars and Black Queens,” he said.

“This timely investment arrives as the Black Stars intensify preparations for the FIFA World Cup campaign and our Black Queens gear up for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).”
