Ghana forward Benjamin Tetteh ended the Slovenian PrvaLiga in style after scoring and delivering an assist on the last day of the 2025/26 campaign as NK Maribor strolled to a 3-0 victory against Aluminij.

The 28-year-old also finish the campaign as joint top scorer in the league with his 12th strike coming against Aluminij on Saturday afternoon.

Tetteh came on with 30 minutes remaining, and made a huge impact after immediately serving an assist for his side's second, netted by Tai Primic.

The lanky forward then registered his name on the score sheet with two minutes left. Ali Reghba had opened the scoring after just sevn minutes for Maribor.

Despite the convincing victory, Maribor had an underwhelming season, finishing the Slovenian league in fifth place.

Meanwhile, Tetteh, who also recorded eight assists in the just-ended season will share the golden boot with Celje's Nikita Iosifov.

The former Ghana U20 striker will now be waiting anxiously to find out if he makes coach Carlos Queiroz's team for the World Cup in North America.
