Tamasco Beat Ghanasco 4-0 in Curtain Raiser at the Honda Football Championship 2026

Before the grand final of the 2026 Honda Football Championship got underway, fans at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium were treated to an entertaining curtain raiser between Tamale Senior High School (Tamasco) and Ghana Senior High School (Ghanasco), and Tamasco made sure the crowd had plenty to cheer about.

Tamasco came out of the blocks firing and made their intentions clear within the very first minute of the game, scoring early to take the lead and set the tone for what was to follow. Ghanasco barely had time to settle before they found themselves behind and chasing the game.

Tamasco continued to dominate and by the end of the first half, they had already put three goals past Ghanasco. Their captain Dawuda Fawzan led from the front, scoring two goals and putting in a commanding performance that inspired his teammates. Musir added the third to give Tamasco a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the break.

The second half was more of the same. Tamasco came back out with the same energy and hunger, and Tidow Osman wrapped things up with a fourth goal to complete a dominant and convincing 4-0 victory for Tamasco. This confident and impressive display from Tamasco sent the crowd into the finals in high spirits.
