Win against Eleven Wonders very important to us - Bechem United coach Kobina Amissah 

Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah has stressed the importance of the team’s victory over Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League on Friday afternoon.  

The Hunters overpowered their Week 31 opponent with a 3-1 victory on the matchday, with captain Augustine Okrah starring with a brace.  

Speaking in a post-match interview, Kobina Amissah expressed his delight with the win, noting that it gives his side a major boost in their quest to escape relegation.  

“I was very happy when we scored the early goal. These points are very important to us, and luckily for us, we won. The problem is that we are still battling [relegation]. It’s not over until it’s over,” the Bechem United head coach said. 

The win on Friday has propelled Bechem United to ninth place in the Ghana Premier League standings, heading into the last four matches of the season. 

The team has 40 points but is just five points above the relegation zone. The points gap means the team cannot leave anything to chance in the remaining matches.
