Ghanaian teenager Peter Baah Jnr ranked among top strikers in Florida

Peter Baah Jnr continues to attract attention in the United States after being named among the top-ranked strikers in Florida by Prep Soccer.

The Ghanaian youngster, who currently plays for Montverde Academy, earned recognition in Prep Soccer’s updated Florida rankings following a series of impressive performances in the American youth football scene.

Prep Soccer is regarded as one of the leading scouting and recruiting platforms for youth and high school football in the United States, with its rankings closely monitored by college recruiters, academy scouts and football stakeholders.

Peter Baah Jnr’s rise has been steady in recent years after first making a name for himself in Ghana through youth competitions and school football tournaments.

The talented forward first gained wider recognition during the 2023 BabyJet U-16 Tournament in Cape Coast, where he impressed with a goal and two assists while representing Taking Over Stars FC.

His performances later earned him a call-up to Ghana’s U-15 national team camp alongside his twin brother, goalkeeper Peter Baah Snr, after standout displays for Kumasi Anglican Senior High School during the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools Games.

The striker’s growing reputation eventually secured him a move to Montverde Academy in the United States, widely considered one of the top environments for youth football development in the country.

Known for his pace, movement, technical quality and finishing ability, Peter Baah Jnr has continued to develop into one of the promising young Ghanaian players abroad.
