Asante Kotoko interim head coach Hamza Obeng says his side will be targeting a massive scoreline against Swedru All Blacks in their final match of the Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupine Warriors are aiming to end their 2025/26 campaign on a high note after a mixed run of results throughout the season.

Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of the All Blacks game, Hamza Obeng revealed that the team has been working on improving all departments in training.

He stressed the importance of improving both defensive stability and attacking efficiency ahead of the game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“We are working on all departments on the training grounds. We are working on the defensive and the attacking zones. We want to combine our play and make sure we have a good game,” he said.

The Kotoko coach made it clear that his team is targeting not just a win, but a dominant performance to restore confidence among supporters.

“We want to get a massive and a convincing score line so that the supporters will be okay as well,” Obeng added.

He also emphasized the importance of protecting home pride in their final match of the season.

“We cannot go down in our home ground. We need to get all the three points to end the season,” he shared.

Kotoko will face Swedru All Blacks on Sunday, May 24, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with kickoff set for 3 p.m.
