Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Addai registered his fourth goal of the campaign in the Azerbaijani topflight as FK Qarabag recorded a new milestone in their history.

Addai scored to complete a 5-1 victory on the road against Neftci, with the Azerbaijani giants recording a 700th away goal. The new milestone was reached after  Musa Qurbanli opened the scoring at the Palms Sports Arena.

Although Qarabag, the most dominant team in recent times, are chasing the title with Sabah comfortably leading the table, they produced a strong statement display.

Qurbani scored after just nine minutes to give the away side the lead, but Neftci levelled 12 minutes later through Elvin Badalov.

The visitors restored their lead through the Azerbaijani striker, his second of the game, and six minutes later Toni Montiel extended the advantage.

After the break, Leandro Andrade put the game beyond the hosts before Addai sealed the victory with a 93rd minute strike.

The Ghanaian forward has made a seven-goal contribution in the league, with three being assists.
