The in-form midfielder has been included in Ghana’s 23-man squad for the upcoming international friendly against Mexico later this month, capping off an impressive season in the domestic league.
Adams, who has been a standout performer for the Mauve and Yellow outfit, shared his excitement shortly after Medeama’s 2-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.
“I feel very excited about getting a Black Stars call-up,” he told 3Sports.
“It’s a huge step for me, and it motivates me to keep pushing harder. I’m hoping to achieve more and earn opportunities beyond here.”
The midfielder has been one of Medeama’s most influential players this season, playing a key role in their title push with a remarkable return of 11 goals in the league.
His performances have now been rewarded with a place in the senior national team setup as he looks to take the next step in his career.
