First Trailer for ENOLA HOLMES 3 Reveals Enola’s Most Dangerous Adventure Yet After Sherlock is Kidnapped

Netflix has released the first trailer for Enola Holmes 3, and this next chapter looks like it’s turning the chaos all the way up. Between kidnappings, explosions, bandits on horseback, and a wedding hanging in the balance, Enola’s latest adventure seems much bigger and far more dangerous than anything she’s tackled before.

Millie Bobby Brown returns as the sharp-witted young detective, and at the start of the trailer, Enola actually appears to be enjoying a peaceful life for once. She’s happily engaged to Tewkesbury, played once again by Louis Partridge, and everything seems set for a romantic future together. Of course, this peace doesn’t last very long.

Things spiral out of control when Henry Cavill’s Sherlock Holmes is kidnapped while traveling to the wedding. That sends Enola racing into her first international case, which takes her to Malta.

The footage teases a massive globe-trotting mystery packed with action and spectacle, including fiery explosions, fireworks, masked outlaws on horseback, and even a theater engulfed in flames.

The trailer also confirms the return of Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty, who looks ready to cause even more trouble this time around.

One notable absence is Sam Claflin as Mycroft Holmes. After missing Enola Holmes 2 because of scheduling issues, it looks like the character won’t appear in the third movie either.

Fans of the second film will also be happy to see that the mid-credits tease involving Himesh Patel’s Dr. John Watson wasn’t just a fun cameo setup. Watson appears to have a significant role in the new story after Enola previously arranged for him to become Sherlock’s new partner at Baker Street.

The franchise has always balanced mystery, humor, and adventure really well, but this trailer makes Enola Holmes 3 feel bigger in scale while still keeping the fun energy that made the first two movies such a big hit. If you enjoyed the first two movie, it looks like you’ll have a good time watching this third film.

Netflix is set to release Enola Holmes 3 on July 1, 2026.
