WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons hit Rabat for title defence
by Mike Oyebola · Daily PostDefending champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria will arrive Rabat on Friday (today) for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.
Justine Madugu’s side set up camp in Casablanca for the tournament last week Monday.
25 players are currently at the team’s Marriott Hotel base following Gift Monday, and Deborah Abiodun’s arrival on Friday night.
The players, and their officials will be officially received by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, and the Local Organsing Committee ,LOC, on Saturday.
Nigeria defeated the Twiga Stars of Tanzania 2-1 in a friendly encounter on Friday.
The Super Falcons will begin their title defence against the Scorchers of Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat next week Tuesday.
