Transfer: Rafael Leao to join Chelsea, not Galatasaray

AC Milan forward Rafael Leao is likely to join Chelsea and not Galatasaray before the summer transfer window closes next week.

This was disclosed by respected Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar, who shared information regarding Galatasaray’s transfer agenda.

Leao has been linked with Galatasaray, and the Portugal international is keen to leave the Serie A giants.

“Galatasaray has some question marks regarding Leao. We are talking about a €20 million reduction,” Çınar said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

“Let me share some information about that. Jorge Mendes was in Milan yesterday.

“He received authorization from the Milan club and will most likely take Leao to Chelsea. It seems that the Leao chapter is closed for Galatasaray.”
