NPFL: Enyimba end losing streak with 2-0 win over Plateau United

Playing in front of a packed stadium, Enyimba rewarded the home fans with an emphatic victory, with one goal scored in each half.
Enyimba took the lead against the visitors in the 36th minute, with a goal scored by Ifeanyi Ihemekwele.
The Elephants, enjoying the vociferous support of their happy fans, got the second goal in the 68th minute, as Richard Ezinna nodded home a corner fired by Wonah William.

Enyimba would have increased the scoreline in the second half, but the Plateau United defence parried the efforts.
Reacting to the result, many fans of Enyimba FC praised the management and players of the club for ending the losing streak and recording seven points from three consecutive games.
