Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has rejoined South African club Chippa United, DAILY POST reports.

Nwabali left Chippa United in February after requesting that his contract be terminated.

The former Enyimba goal tender has now return to the Chilli Boys after failing to secure a move to another club.

The Eastern Cape outfit confirmed the shot stopper’s return in a statement on their X account on Sunday.

“Chippa United Football Club is delighted to welcome Stanley Nwabali back to the Chilli Boys. After taking time away, Stanley Nwabali returns to the Eastern Cape, and we are pleased to welcome him back to the club,”reads the short statement.

The 30-year-old first joined Chippa United from Katsina United in 2022.

He made 66 league appearances during that stint.
