2026 Ballon d’Or: Top 3 rankings after nominees’ shortlist is released

Following the release of the 30-man nominees shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, the top three rankings have been revealed.

Bayern Munich and England striker, Harry Kane, is leading the race with 63%, according to Polymarket.

Kane won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal titles with the German giants.

In second place is Barcelona and Spain winger, Lamine Yamal, with 15 per cent.

Yamal won the Copa del Rey and LaLiga titles with Barca and lifted the World Cup with Spain.

Real Madrid and France forward, Kylian Mbappe, comes in at third place with 11%.

Although Mbappe did not win any trophies in the year under review, he finished as the top scorer in the Champions League, LaLiga and World Cup.
