2026 World Cup: Argentina ‘submit special request’ to FIFA ahead of England semi-final
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostArgentina have made a special request to FIFA about their kits ahead of the 2026 World Cup semi-final clash against England.
The current holders beat Switzerland 3-1 to book their place.
Albiceleste will take on the Three Lions, who edged a 2-1 win over Norway in the quarter-final.
According to journalist Gaston Edul, Argentina have told FIFA that they want to wear their all-blue kit instead of the blue and white strip.
The world champions have worn their traditional blue and white striped kit in all but one of their six World Cup matches so far.
The only exception was when they faced Jordan in the group stages of the tournament.
