EPL: Arteta banned me from Arsenal training before Barcelona move – Gabriel Jesus
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostBarcelona striker Gabriel Jesus has revealed he was banned from Arsenal first-team training before he sealed a move to the LaLiga champions this summer.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta did not select Jesus for their first two matches of this season.
The Brazilian eventually ended his four-year spell with Arsenal by completing a cut-price £8.6 million move to Spanish giants.
In an interview with SportyTV, Jesus opened up on his last days at the Emirates.

He said: “I’m a professional, you know and then obviously I was training with the group and then from nothing they put me to train away from the group.
“The work with Deco, and the president of the club, and my agent was amazing.
“In one day, it was sure that I would have the opportunity to come (to Barcelona). I said yes, straight away, no matter what and I am so happy to be here.”
