Ikenne to host Super Falcons friendlies with Cape Verde

The Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne will host the double-header friendlies between Super Falcons of Nigeria and Cape Verde.

The two matches are scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 and Saturday, April 18.

Both countries will use the friendlies to prepare for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria defeated Cape Verde in their previous meetings- a WAFCON qualifier in 2023.

The African champions secured a 2-1 away win in the first leg , and won the reverse fixture 5-0 at home.

The Super Falcons will open camp in Abuja for the friendlies this weekend.
