NNL: ABS FC announce Mustapha Ogunbenro’s departure

ABS FC have confirmed the departure of forward Mustapha Ogunbenro from the club, DAILY POST reports.

Ogunbenro has linked up with Beninoise side, Ayema FC, after two seasons with the Ilorin-based club.

The forward was one of the standout performers for ABS FC during his time at the club.

Ogunbenro contributed to the club’s push against relegation in the last campaign.

His move to Ayema FC marks a new step in his career as he gets set to experience top-flight football outside Nigeria for the first time.

Ogunbenro will be looking to establish himself quickly in Benin Republic and continue the form that made him a fan favourite in Ilorin.
