New Real Madrid player, Yan Diomande, has revealed why he joined the Los Blancos ahead of other European clubs.

The Ivory Coast international recently joined Jose Mourinho’s side from RB Leipzig.

The 19-year-old signed a seven-year contract with the LaLiga giants that will see him remain at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2033.

Speaking to Realmadrid TV, Diomande said he joined Real Madrid because it is the best club in the world.

“Because it’s the best club in the world,” Diomande said when asked about his decision to join Madrid.

“When Madrid calls you, you can’t say no. It’s that simple. I am proud and happy because this was my dream,” he added.
