Israel, Lebanon have agreed to 10-day ceasefire – Trump

United States President Donald Trump says Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a 10-day ceasefire.

Trump made this announcement in a post on his Truth Social on Thursday.

He wrote, “These two Leaders have agreed that in order to achieve peace between their Countries, they will formally begin a 10 day ceasefire at 5 P.M. EST.”

Trump’s announcement is coming after Lebanon and Israel met in Washington DC for talks earlier this week.

Recall that both countries have been engaged in hostilities for over two years.
