World Cup 2026: What Piers Morgan said about Ronaldo, Modric after Portugal beat Croatia

Morgan said he loved the respect between Ronaldo and Modric, adding that the pair are still world-class in their 40s.
The 61-year-old was reacting to Portugal’s 2-1 win against Croatia at Toronto Stadium.
In a tweet on X, Morgan wrote, “Incredible end to a brilliant game. Congrats to @Cristiano and Portugal on a thrilling win, and commiserations to @lukamodric10 and Croatia on a devastating loss.
“Loved the respect between these two football legends, both in their 40s, both still world-class acts.”
Ronaldo and Modric were former teammates during their time together at Real Madrid.
