CAF Champions League: Rangers walk tight rope after home draw against Sobemap

Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by AS Sobemap in the first leg of their CAF Champions League first preliminary round tie at the Moshood Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta, on Sunday.

The Flying Antelopes dominated the opening exchanges, pushing the visitors back

Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side scored the curtain raiser in the 23rd minute through Iwundu Chidozie.

Sobemap stunned their hosts by scoring the equalising goal early in the second half.
