Cooler weather for next few days, but temperatures set to be back in mid-20s by weekend
by Conor Brummell, https://www.thejournal.ie/author/conor-brummell/ · TheJournal.ieNEXT WEEKEND WILL see a return to warmer weather, Met Éireann has said.
The forecast for this week looks mixed so far, with rain or showers at times.
However, there will be some decent dry periods that will see temperatures ranging from the mid-high teens to low twenties.
Temperatures rose above 30 degrees in parts of the country on Thursday and Friday last week, which was due to a plume of hot air sweeping north from continental Europe.
Monday to Friday’s weather will be slightly cooler than last week.
Friday will be largely dry with some hazy sunny spells in the southeast, with highs of 16 to 22 degrees.
