Sony has announced that a State of Play will be taking place tomorrow, September 24th at 3PM PDT/6pm EDT/ 11pm BST. The show will last 30 minutes with news and updates for around 20 games to be showcased.

The games include both PS5 and PSVR 2 titles, and there is likely to be more news about games that will take advantage of the PS5 Pro’s specs. The State of Play will stream across YouTube and Twitch.

There are not that many rumours around to say what will be shown, though one that has been persistent the last week is a Days Gone remaster, which may or may not generate a similar reaction the news of the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster. If there is a remaster announcement then many would be waiting for games like Bloodborne, which would be a very popular option for fans.

Sony’s State of Play comes a few days before Tokyo Game Show gets into full swing, so there could be some early surprises from Japanese studios. Microsoft also have a Tokyo Game Show showcase taking place this week, with that happening on September 26th, and that will have a focus on games from Japanese studios.
