Something for the Weekend – 27/06/26
by Stefan L · tsaI had a good bit of thunder and some decent rain showers overnight, so I can look forward to the gruelling heat breaking and the coming week of low-mid 20s where I am.
And with that blessed relief on the weather front, I’m thinking I might tinker with my PC and install SteamOS on it. Just to see what it’s like.

Games in Review & Featured Articles
While we had the new(-ish) launch of Star Fox for Switch 2, this week also saw us catching up on some games that took us a while longer to pin a score on.
- ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies – PC – 9/10
- Gothic 1 Remake – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 8/10
- Star Fox – NSW2 – 7/10 (Video Review)
- Crimson Desert – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 7/10
- Dark Scrolls – NSW, PC – 6/10
We also had review-adjacent explorations of Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition for Switch 2, and the somewhat confounding Dead Or Alive 6 Last Round.
Beyond the reviews, I had a fresh preview for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, delving deep beneath the surface of Minos, and shared some thoughts on the Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok DLC expansion.
And we wrap up for the week with What We Played featuring Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, God of War: Ascension & Trail Out.

What have you all been playing through the sweltering conditions?
- Andrewww found it a bit too hot for serious gaming, but has found a fun GeoGuessr-adjacent game called MapTap.
That’s the round up for this week. Hope you have a great weekend and we’ll see you back here on Monday!
