Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom DLC announced

Tribute Games and Dotemu have announced new DLC for Marvel Cosmic Invasion which, unsurprisingly given the upcoming movie, is centred around Dr Doom. There is not much information given so far, but a teaser image putting Dr Doom front and centre has been released, so you can look at that at least.

What we do know is that the DLC is called Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom, it will introduce a brand new game mode, and that two playable characters will be added to the roster as part of the DLC. No clues have been given as to who those are but the likes of Reed Richards, the Human Torch, and Invisible Woman have not been added to the game.

In our Marvel Cosmic Invasion review, Adrian wrote, “Having found Tribute Games’ previous release, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, to be one of the best scrolling beat ‘em ups I’d ever played, I had high expectations for Marvel Cosmic Invasion. How could Shredder’s Revenge with Marvel characters go wrong? Sadly, Marvel Cosmic Invasion is entirely OK but fails to be anything more than that.”

A release date for Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom is yet to be announced.
